PM Kisan 15th Installment Released: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the amount of 15th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana through DBT to eight crore farmers from Jharkhand, the land of Birsa Munda. Meanwhile, the Congress on Wednesday, just two days before the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, raised questions over the release of the 15th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi and wondered whether it was done “deliberately”. While the first phase of voting for assembly elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh on November 17, the second phase of voting will be held in the neighboring state Chhattisgarh. In Chhattisgarh, voting was held in the first phase on November 7.
The aim of the Congress party is to retain power in Chhattisgarh and defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ that the sixth installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi was released on August 1, 2020, while the ninth installment was released on August 9, 2021. He said that the 12th installment was released on October 17 last year.
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said, the 15th installment under PM-Kisan is being released today i.e. on 15 November 2023. Now that elections are going to be held in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh in the next two days, in Rajasthan in 10 days and in Telangana in 15 days, the 15th installment is being released today. He asked, isn’t this delay deliberate?
