PM gave gift to Santhal Pargana on the occasion of Foundation Day, four lanes in Deoghar-Basukinath and Hansdiha-Mahagama.

The foundation stone of the Deoghar-Basukinath four lane from Khunti by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be ready in one and a half years. PM Modi has given the gift of Deoghar-Basukinath four lane to the devotees on Jharkhand Foundation Day. Along with the four lane, a walking path will also be built for Kanwariyas. For the convenience of Kanwariyas, 35 km Kanwariya Path will also be constructed parallel to the four lane between Deoghar and Basukinath. This Kanwariya path will be 3.5 wide. Chairs will be installed at various places on the path, so that Kanwariyas traveling on foot will be able to sit and relieve their fatigue. Besides, there will also be facilities of street light, toilet, shed and drinking water. This four lane road will emerge from Hindolavaran connecting Deoghar Ring Road. The length of Deoghar-Basukinath four lane will be 45 kilometers. 50 percent green field road will be built in this four lane. In this, bypass of Ghoramara, Taljhari, Sahara and Jarmundi Bazaar will be built. Rs 999 crore will be spent on the construction of this four lane. In this project, Rs 400 crore will be spent on land acquisition. In Deoghar and Dumka, 80 percent land acquisition work has been completed. The Union Road Transport Ministry is closely monitoring this project. Instructions have been given to complete 50 percent widening of the main road, so that traffic can start on the wide road, after which the bypass work will be started. The work has been given to Punjab’s construction company Grover Construction Private Limited.
