Jharkhand News: On the occasion of World Tribal Day, people of tribal community in Hazaribagh, Latehar and Giridih celebrated it with enthusiasm. All the guests present in the program organized by Tribal Students’ Union and Central Sarna Samiti including other tribal organizations were welcomed in a traditional way at Hazaribagh’s Nagar Bhavan. On this occasion, Chief Guest DDC Prerna Dixit said that tribal society should join the mainstream of the society by taking along their language and culture. He called upon people to come forward to remove illiteracy prevailing in the society. Citing the example of Toda, a tribe of Tamil Nadu, he said that this tribe has preserved its language and culture along with development. Regarding Birhor, a tribal tribe of Jharkhand, he asked other tribes to come forward to connect them with the mainstream. Also said that the government is continuously running schemes for the development of all tribal communities. The administration is working to take the schemes to them. Along with the government, administration, common people also need to work hard to educate the Birhor tribes. On the other hand, special guest trainee IAS Sulochana Meena said that there is a need to understand the language and culture of all the tribal communities living in India. Their language and culture are different in different regions. He needs more encouragement. The government is constantly trying to advance the people of the tribal community related to language, art and culture.

The program started by lighting the island

The program was inaugurated by people associated with many tribal organizations including DDC Prerna Dixit, Trainee IAS Sulochana Meena by lighting the island. On this occasion, the people of tribal society settled in different villages and localities of the city started reaching Nagar Bhawan for the program from 10 am itself. The artists associated with the cultural organization of their locality, while performing traditional songs and dances, showed their unity and culture by reaching the venue in a group. A cultural program was presented by various organizations at Nagar Bhawan. The program was presided over by Sushil Odaiya, Central Vice President of Tribal Students Union, Sunil Lakda, Secretary, Sarna Committee.

Tribal Day celebrated with pomp in Mahuadand block of Latehar

Here, on the occasion of World Tribal Day in Mahuadand block of Latehar district, a bike procession was taken out by Chhechhadi Adivasi Yuva Jagruti Manch. Also a cultural program was organized. The bike procession started by garlanding Shaheed Chowk. On this occasion garlanded the statues of Jeetu Kisan and Mithu Kisan. Along with garlanding the statue of Lord Birsa Munda at Birsa Chowk, the bike rally reached village Chatakpur on 21 Padah. Where cultural programs were organized. Appeal to the people of the tribal community to be alert and alert

Seven day workshop concludes

A speech competition was also organized on this occasion, the topic of which was the contribution of tribal heroes of Jharkhand in India’s freedom struggle. In which DLED in-charge Hardeep Kaur and Sudhanshu Shekhar Jamiyar were included in the role of judges. A large number of trainees participated in this competition. Pawan Kumar Pandit was given first and Puja Verma second prize for doing better in the competition. On the other hand, Anand Kumar Verma was awarded for doing better in the essay competition. During this, the seven-day workshop organized in the college was also concluded. Apart from Praveen Kumar Mishra, all the lecturers, non-teaching staff, trainee students of the college were present on the occasion.
