Volvo C40 Recharge has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the second electric car of the company, the first car was XC40 Recharge. The C40 Recharge is based on the XC40 Recharge, but has a sloping roofline, giving it a coupe-like look.

The C40 Recharge has many modern features, including:

The exterior design of the C40 Recharge is similar to the XC40 Recharge, but there are some key differences. The biggest difference is the sloping roofline, which gives it a coupe-like look. It has Thor’s hammer LED daytime running lamps and dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels at the front. Moving towards the rear, it gets sleek tail lamps with a twin-pod roof spoiler.

The C40 Recharge gets a dual-motor set-up – one on each axle along with a 78kWh battery with a claimed range of 530 km on a single charge. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.

The interior of the C40 Recharge is similar to the XC40 Recharge. It has a 9.0-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, which is flanked by slim AC vents. It also has layers of wood on the dashboard along with soft-touch materials. Vegan leather upholstery has been used in the C40 Recharge.
