Sambalpur Ranchi Expressway

Special attention is being given to road construction in Jharkhand. As part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana initiative, an expressway will be constructed to connect Ranchi to Sambalpur in Odisha. The construction of this expressway, which has been approved under the ambitious Bharatmala project. Due to which a lot of time will be saved in traveling between Ranchi and Sambalpur. Now people will be able to reach Odisha from Ranchi in a few hours. To connect the two cities, the expressway will be built in four phases. Expressway will be built till Jaitgarh in Odisha. Rs 719 crore will be spent on this.

Kutchery-Piska Elevated Road

Commuters in Ranchi who faced difficulties while traveling at Kachari-Piska turn will finally heave a sigh of relief. Ratu Road elevated corridor is starting to take shape. At present deck slab work is being done in Pandara Road. Currently the molding work between six pillars has been done. Work is to be done between the remaining six pillars. In this way this work will be completed till Piska turn in Pandara Road. After completion of deck slab work here, deck slab work will be started from Kishori Singh Yadav Chowk in Ratu Road. Meanwhile, the work of installing pillar caps and girders will be done from Piska Mod to the front of the cemetery. At the same time, work on 14 pillars will be done in Itki Road. Efforts are being made to complete the elevated road by the end of this year.

Dhalbhumgarh Airport

The construction of the airport at Dhalbhumgarh under East Singhbhum district will see a major change in the infrastructure of the area. Economic changes and improvements will be seen in every sector. Industry, business, health, education and many other sectors will benefit from this. It is estimated that more than 52 thousand passengers will fly through the air service in the first year. East, West Singhbhum, some parts of Seraikela, many districts of West Bengal and Odisha will benefit from this. Let us tell you that the airport will be constructed on an airfield decommissioned after the Second World War, which is about 60 kilometers away from Jamshedpur.

Ranchi Railway Station

Ranchi railway station is undergoing a redevelopment project. This includes construction of a two-three storey terminal building, 10 lifts, 17 escalators, separate entry and exit points, a parcel handling system and an elevated concourse. The new terminal building will allow passengers to access platform five and will be connected to the other terminal building by a footbridge. The project is expected to cost Rs 447 crore and will be completed by 2025. The elevated concourse will provide various facilities including restrooms, cafes and restaurants.

Gola Ormanjhi Expressway

There is another such project which will change the picture of Jharkhand. We are talking about Gola-Ormanjhi Expressway project. It will cost approximately Rs 1700 crore to build. It has been approved by the National Highway Authority of India and will soon be put up for bid. This project, which will be developed as a greenfield project. It is being said that this will be the first real expressway of Jharkhand state. With the completion of this project, it will provide better transportation options to the drivers of big vehicles and owners of private vehicles.

Jamshedpur Mango Flyover

The third bridge and first flyover plan at Mango in Jamshedpur has been approved by the state cabinet. This flyover is worth Rs 474.78 crore and will provide high quality infrastructure and better connectivity to the people. Along with this, the flyover will provide relief from the problem of road jam. At the same time, a four kilometer long bridge will connect Mango and Azad Basti to Sakchi. Jamshedpur will be provided facilities on the lines of Metro City.

Sahibganj Manihari Cable Stayed Bridge

The people of Jharkhand and Bihar are going to get a big gift very soon. In fact, by October 2024, work is being done to connect a new bridge on the Ganga river connecting Sahibganj in Jharkhand to Manihari in Bihar. Let us tell you that this bridge, which is 6 km long and is the third longest bridge in the world. The bridge will reduce the travel distance by 1/10 of the current distance. The project also includes construction of Manihari Bypass and widening of NH-131A. The cost of this project is Rs 1,900 crore and about 2,750 construction workers are working to complete it.

Siram Toli Flyover

Railways has given permission for the construction of Sirmatoli flyover. Earlier the Railways had given permission to do piling. Now clearance has been given for construction work. After this there is no hindrance of any kind. At present, pier construction work is being done after piling just below the existing overbridge. A cable-stayed bridge-cum-flyover is scheduled to be completed in the city by 2024, which will be the first in the state. In such a situation, there will be no problem related to railways.

Masaliya Ranishwar Mega Lift Irrigation Project

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has inaugurated the Masalia-Ranishwar Mega Lift Irrigation Project in Dumka. Farmers of 276 villages of Jharkhand will benefit from this project. Also, about 55,000 acres of land can be irrigated through underground pipelines. The cost of this project is Rs 1,300 crore and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) will build this project. According to the information, a 158 meter barrage will also be built on the river within three years.

Ranchi Outer Ring Road

Ranchi Outer Ring Road, which is expected to cost Rs 7,000 crore. There will be a circular road spanning approximately 200 km and will include several cable-stayed bridges. It will be built about 10 km away from the existing 86 km long Ring Road.
