Mahajam was seen in the capital Patna on Wednesday. The maximum effect of the jam was seen in Gandhi Maidan, Mahendru and Kankarbagh. The family members were stuck in the jam with the child, while somewhere on the school bus and pickup van, the children were waiting for the jam to end. Along with the traffic policemen posted at Gandhi Maidan, the police of the local police stations also came on the road.

In a span of two hours from 11 am to 1 pm, 8.2 mm of rain was recorded in Patna. During this, there was water logging at many places in Patna.
There was a huge jam in many areas of Patna on Wednesday. From one o’clock in the afternoon till four o’clock in the evening, there was a long queue of vehicles from the street to the crossroads. There was heavy jam for four hours in Gandhi Maidan, Station Road, Buddha Murti, Chirayatand Flyover, Bakarganj, Mahendru, Chhajjubagh, Boring Road, Rajiv Nagar Crossroads, Sai Mandir Road, Patliputra Mod etc.
Due to the rain for about two hours on Wednesday afternoon, one to one and a half feet of water was filled in the low-lying areas of the city. The maximum water logging was seen in Khaitan Market, Birla Mandir Road and Rajendra Nagar Road number one and two. One to one and a half feet of water was visible in front of JP Golambar in Gandhi Maidan circle.
Due to the rain since morning on Wednesday, people were stuck here and there. As soon as the rain stopped during school holidays around 1:30 to 2 pm, the pressure of vehicles suddenly increased on the roads. The police of the local police station had to come on the road to clear the jam. People remained stuck in the jam for more than an hour at Rajiv Nagar intersection. From one o’clock in the afternoon till three o’clock in the afternoon, vehicles were stuck at the crossroads from all sides.
On Wednesday, water up to one and a half feet was visible in the road leading to the High Court from behind Hotel Patliputra near Income Tax Golambar. Half a foot to one foot of water was also seen at the martyr’s memorial Golambar in front of the assembly.
In Ramakrishna Nagar, a car got stuck on the road due to waterlogging and mud in the service lane, which was pulled out by a tractor. There was water logging at many places in Jaganpura as well. Waterlogging was also seen at many places in Karbigahia. Due to the construction of the double-decker flyover in Ashok Rajpath, the road was damaged and rain water filled it, causing problems for the people to move. In many localities of Kankarbagh also water logging was seen during the rains. In East Indiranagar, the level of frozen water for a week has increased even more, due to which the problems of the people have increased even more. During the rains, municipal workers were seen trying to extract water at many places.
