In this Ravana Dahan program organized by Sri Sri Dussehra Committee Trust, the organizers first welcomed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar by presenting him a memento. After this, the Chief Minister released the balloon and gave the message of maintaining peace and harmony in the state.

Here the Chief Minister performed aarti by applying tilak on the form of Shri Ram and Shri Laxman. After this the program formally started. First Lanka was burnt and then the effigies of Kumbhkaran, Meghnad and Ravana, symbols of evil, were burnt one by one.
