Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple

A new design with some changes from the original, was prepared by Sompura in 2020. The temple will be 235 feet wide, 360 feet long and 161 feet high as per Vaastu Shastra and Shilpa Shastra. Once completed, the temple complex will be the third largest Hindu temple in the world. It is designed in the Gujara-Chaulukya style of North Indian temple architecture. A model of the proposed temple was displayed during the Prayag Kumbh Mela in 2019.

The main structure of the temple is being built on a raised platform. It will have three floors. It will have five pavilions between the sanctum sanctorum (sanctum sanctorum) and the entrance. Three pavilions of Kudu, dance and colours; And on the other side two pavilions for kirtan and prayer. The pavilions will be decorated with shikharas in Nagara style. The highest peak will be the peak above the sanctum sanctorum. There will be a total of 366 columns in the building.

The pillars of the temple will each have 16 idols which include incarnations of Shiva, 10 Dashavatars, 64 Chausath Yoginis and 12 incarnations of Goddess Saraswati. The width of the stairs will be 16 feet. As per the scriptures of design of temples dedicated to Vishnu, the sanctum sanctorum will be octagonal. The temple is being built on about 10 acres. The 57-acre land will be developed into a campus with a prayer hall, a lecture hall, an educational facility and other facilities like a museum and a cafeteria.
