JMM leader Kalpana Soren, wife of former CM Hemant Soren, reached Giridih. There he offered prayers at Shri Ramjanaki Temple located at Bada Chowk.
Kalpana Soren is contesting the by-election from Gandey Assembly. After Hemant Soren went to jail, there was talk that she would soon enter the political arena.
At present Chaitra Navratri is going on and a huge crowd of devotees is gathering in the temples of Maa Durga.
After the puja in the temple, Kalpana Soren also worshiped Goddess Durga at Sri Sri Chhotki Durga Mandap located at Gandhi Chowk.
After the puja, Kalpana Soren has left for Bengabad.
Gandey will meet with workers regarding the assembly by-election in Bengabad.
