Former Chief Minister of Bihar Jitan Ram Manjhi has opened a front against the state government. In this series, Dalits and women came to participate in the one-day Swabhiman Sabha organized at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Tuesday. In this dharna, party founder Jitan Ram Manjhi along with his son and party national president and former minister Dr. Santosh Suman were also present. Union ministers of BJP also reached here to support Manjhi.
During this, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that the Chief Minister’s mask of Dalit love has now been exposed. I was not even allowed to speak in the House. Even protest was not allowed in Patna. He said that his insult was raised prominently by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the assembly elections of Telangana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. During this, the party’s national president and former minister Dr. Santosh Suman said that former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi was stopped from speaking in the House. He was insulted. During this time, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai and Union Minister Giriraj Singh also arrived in support of Manjhi.
Jitan Ram Manjhi, while posting a post on social media before the protest program, wrote that right now Nitish Kumar ji is making his MPs say that if there is Modi, it is possible, if there is Modi, it is guaranteed. After a few days, Nitish Kumar himself will say that if Modi is there then Nitish is there, if Modi is there then everything is possible.
In fact, during the winter session of Bihar Assembly, during the discussion on the bill to increase the reservation limit in jobs and educational institutions, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar got angry at former Chief Minister and HAM patron Jitan Ram Manjhi. At that time Manjhi was presenting his side during the discussion on the Reservation Bill. On which the Chief Minister, while directly addressing Manjhi, said that you have no sense. It was my mistake that we made him the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had said that when you left the people (BJP) in 2013, you were alone. Only after that he was made the Chief Minister. After just two months, people from our party started saying that he should be removed. Was he the Chief Minister? Became Chief Minister because of my stupidity. Then he said to the media people, you people keep publishing this unnecessarily.
In the assembly, Jitan Ram Manjhi, hurt by CM Nitish’s words, had said that Nitish Kumar had made me the Chief Minister to save his shame and considering me simple. I thought it was simple and would keep doing whatever I say. But, when we started working in the public interest as the Chief Minister, his friends told him that if Manjhi works for a few more days, there will be no one to question him. After that, what kind of conspiracies did Nitish Kumar hatch to remove me? I said that if you had told me once, I would have resigned.
BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh also arrived at Jantar Mantar to participate in this protest program. While sharing the picture on social media, he wrote that ‘Participated in a one-day demonstration at Jantar Mantar against the insult to Dalits and women in Bihar Assembly’.
