On Monday, on the eve of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, Hindu New Year Yatra started from Dimna in Jamshedpur to Subhash Maidan (Sakchi Ambagan Maidan). It started with the chanting of Vedic mantras by saints and priests from near Mango Dimna Chowk.
National bhajan singer Pooja Galvani and writer Nandu Tamrakar, who participated in the journey, made the 11 kilometer journey a devotional one, which was also telecast live. During the yatra, every child of India sang Jai Shri Ram Bolega and the entire city became filled with devotional slogans.
MP Vidyut Varan Mahato also participated and addressed the yatra. The MP was welcomed by Hindu New Year Yatra President Rambabu Tiwari in saffron Angavastra. The MP said that the founder of the Yatra, Mrityunjay and President Rambabu Tiwari have been carrying out the Hindu New Year Yatra for a long time. They are making our young generation aware of our culture and religion.
Mrityunjay welcomed the guests. BJP leader Neeraj Singh addressed the yatra. Rambabu Tiwari greeted the guests and congratulated the Sanatanis for the New Year. Started the Hindu New Year Yatra by taking the name of Lord Shri Ganesha.
Dimna Chowk’s Mango roundabout covered with saffron
During the Hindu New Year Yatra, the entire area from Dimna to Mango roundabout was covered with saffron flags. Slogans of Jai Shri Ram were being raised all around. The organizers garlanded the statue of martyr Khudiram Bose at Manago Khudiram Bose Chowk. A large number of city residents participated in the 11 kilometer journey between Dimna and Subhash Maidan, in which the saints were seen in their original costumes.
Tableaux were the center of attraction
The center of attraction of the yatra was the tableau of Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita, Bajrangbali from Dimna MGM grounds. Bhajan singer Pooja Galvani and writer Nandu Tamrakar also remained the center of attraction for the people. These artists enthralled the entire atmosphere with the slogans and songs of Bharat Ka Bachcha-Bachcha…Jai Shri Ram Bolega.
Devotional music played by DJs from Odisha, Bengal and Jharkhand was creating different enthusiasm during the New Year Yatra. People of all ages reached from Dimna to Subhash Maidan dancing to the songs like Shri Ram Ki Sena Chali, Ramji Ki Nikli Sawari, Bhagwa Rang, Lanka Me Kude Bajrang Bali etc.
Bharat Mata Aarti performed in Sakchi Ambagan
The yatra was started from Dimna MGM ground at 3 o’clock in the day. The journey of about 11 kilometers took five hours to reach Subhash Maidan (Aambagan Maidan). Bharat Mata Aarti was performed when the Yatra reached Subhash Maidan, where the Aarti was performed in front of the 31 feet statue of Bharat Mata.
Hindu New Year Yatra spokesperson Sarvjeet expressed his gratitude to everyone. Deepanarayan Mishra, Vipin, Ram Awadhesh Choubey, Gunjan Yadav, Nitin Trivedi, Chhotan Mishra, Amit Aggarwal, Manoj Bajpayee, Dharmendra Prasad, Anand Bihari Dubey, Rahul Hindu, Deepak Bhadani, Akash Mahato, Jitu Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, Chandan in the New Year Yatra. Kashi, Yudhishthir Mahato, Rakesh Sahu, Sreesanth Singh etc. were included.
