On this occasion, the CM honored 24 newly promoted IPS officers with badges. Among the newly promoted Indian Police Service officers to be honored with the badge are Sarojini Lakra, Emelda Ekka, Sadiq Anwar Rizvi, Arvind Kumar Singh, Vikas Kumar Pandey and Vijay Ashish Kujur (all 2017 batch). Apart from this, Deepak Kumar Sharma, Rajkumar Mehta, Shambhu Kumar Singh, Ajay Kumar Sinha, Anudeep Singh, Pujya Prakash, Sahdev Sao, Amit Kumar Singh, Ajit Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Deepak Kumar Pandey and Animesh Naithani (all batch 2019). Whereas, Ajay Kumar-I, Arif Ekram, Dr. Vimal Kumar, Manish Toppo, Kailash Karmali and Pitambar Singh Kherwar (all batch 2020) were included. State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department Avinash Kumar, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, Director General of Police (CID) Anurag Gupta, Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey and other senior officers of the Indian Police Service and relatives of newly promoted 24 Indian Police Service officers were present on the occasion.
