Mass in churches on the feast of Christ the King

Christian believers celebrated the festival of Christ the King with great pomp in Palamu. A religious procession was taken out on this occasion. Father Morris Kujur, the parish priest of the Roman Catholic Church, was leading the charge. The procession started from the Queen of Peace Church located on the local Station Road. The parish priest was traveling in a decorated vehicle.

In the procession, small girls were walking in the form of fairies and showering flowers in front of the Holy Sacrament. Christian believers divided into different groups were singing songs related to the festival of Christ the King. The procession passed through Shaheed Chowk, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Chhammuhan, District School Chowk, Head Post Office Road, Subhash Chowk, Navatoli Chowk, DDC Awas Road and reached the Church again, where the festival concluded after the religious rituals.

Priests distributed Mahaprasad

Earlier in the morning, Mass and prayer meeting was held in the prashal of the church under the supervision of Parish Priest Father Morris Kujur. After this, the parish priest and Father Michael Kujur gave the message of Christ the King. Said that Christ is the king of all kings. His kingdom is not like the kings and emperors of this world, but is for the benefit of all human beings.

A special chariot was made for the festival of Christ the King

Human values ​​like peace, justice in society, love, brotherhood, honesty and equality reign in the heart of man. All Christian believers should adopt these virtues in their life and practice them. Father Amardeep, Arvind Munda, Pradeep, Anish, Sebastian, Shyam Tudu were involved in the ritual.

Cyril Toppo, Allin Ekka, Pradeep Minz, Pratap Tirkey, Ranjit Surin, Francis Minz, JJ Lakra, Alfred Minz, Joseph Surin, Charles Vulture, Sister Ignacia, Sister Angela, Manohar Lakra, Benjamin Lakra, Jyoti Lakra, Ajay Minz during the procession. Many, including Marianus Toppo, were active. Christian believers from Birsa Nagar, Chianki, Kusumtand, Abadganj, Redma, Sudna, Vivek Sadan, Sadhna Sadan, Manika Siris participated in it.

The religious procession was welcomed near the Union Church. Under the leadership of Pastor Prabhu Ranjan Masih, the believers welcomed him in a traditional manner. After this, Christians associated with the Union Church joined the procession.

Christian believers said that after this festival, preparations for the festival of arrival of Lord Jesus will begin and the new liturgical year will also begin.
