Sita Fall But on special occasions people come with their families to worship. Sita Dhara is situated in a deserted and isolated place. Here the water of the waterfall falls from a height of about 300 feet. An effort has been made to preserve the footprints of Mother Sita in a small temple built here. According to legends, Lord Shri Ram stayed here for a few days along with Mother Sita and Lakshman during their exile. Mother Sita used to prepare kitchen with the water of this spring. Tourists who come here with faith in their hearts, feel the presence of Mother Sita in every particle.

You will see many wild animals in the dense forests around Sita Fall, but none of them cause you any harm. Even before the fall, monkeys will be seen jumping to welcome you. The monkeys jumping from one tree to another will not come to you unless you invite them to you. Sometimes a herd of wild elephants can also be seen on the other side of the fall, but elephants never come near the waterfall.

People descend 350 stairs and enjoy the beautiful views of the beautiful Sita Falls. Here, the greenery spread all around gives solace to the eyes and mind, while the echoing sound of birds will give you relief. The new name of Sita Dhara is Sita Fall. The distance of Sitafall from the capital Ranchi is 44 km. Its distance from the famous Jonha Fall is 3.4 km. Its distance from Angada block headquarters is 21 km.

Sita Falls is connected to Ranchi-Muri road. Jonha station in down railway line and Gautamdhara station in up line is close to here. On the request of the villagers, the then head of Jonha Manmohan Sahu and Angada BDO Ranendra Kumar had built a temple and PCC road here in the 90s. A kutcha road was constructed by him from Gautamdhara to here. Later, after becoming the Road Construction Minister, Silli MLA Sudesh Mahato, seeing the importance of this place, was the first to get a concrete road built up to Sita Dhara.

Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation Limited has reinstated Tourism Mitras here for the convenience and help of tourists. Many beautification works have been done by him. Being surrounded by forests and mountains, this fall is more beautiful than others. Tourists reach here from October to February. Apart from Ranchi, a large number of tourists come here from Bengal. Extensive security arrangements are made by the administration on New Year. Many rare herbs are found in the forest here. Sita Dhara is situated on the Radhu River. Radhu is a tributary of Swarnarekha.
