On reaching Rajgir from Mokama CRPF Training Centre, the CRPF women motorcycle squad was given a grand welcome by RCVA Chairman Aarti Singh and Principal DIG Sanjay Kumar at the RTC CRPF Training Centre. The brave women of CRPF were welcomed by applying tilak and wearing garlands.

On October 5, this bikers team left for Gujarat from Shillong Apollo Ground. It will conclude the journey by reaching Kevadiya in Gujarat on 31st October, the birthday of Iron Man Vallabhbhai Patel. Passing through 15 states and two union territories, this women’s bike squad will travel about 3291 kilometers and reach the destination.

This women bikers squad is being led by group leader Deputy Commandant Amit Joshi. After the welcome and meal, the Vickers Group was flagged off by RCVA Chairman Aarti Singh and Principal DIG Sanjay Kumar and left for Gaya.

Before this, DIG Sanjay Kumar, Principal of RTC CRPF Training Centre, encouraged the women warriors and said that this squad of warriors is a symbol of national unity and social harmony. CRPF Women Motorcycle Campaign organized on National Unity Day, October 31, has been organized in different areas in view of the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

DIG Sanjay Kumar said that the purpose of this bike rally is to praise women empowerment, bravery and the recently passed reservation bill Nari Shakti. Women of the country have been given 33 percent reservation. This will increase the number of women in the legislature.

In this campaign, a distance of 3291 kilometers will be covered by women bikers. This team will reach its destination Ekta Nagar via Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
