Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, which is called heaven on earth, worshiped Baba Baidyanath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas located in Deoghar, Jharkhand, on Sunday. Manoj Sinha reached Deoghar with his family and after reaching Baba Mandir, worshiped with full rituals.
Pilgrimage priests chanting mantras made a resolution for the Majesty of Jammu and Kashmir. After this, His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor performed Jalabhishek of the twelve Jyotirlingas with his family.
After offering prayers to Baba Baidyanath, Manjunath Bhajantri, Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate present there, presented a memento to His Excellency Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Along with this, Prasad of Baba Baidyanath was also given.
On this occasion, in-charge Superintendent of Police Nathu Ram Meena, Sub-Divisional Officer cum Baba Mandir in-charge Dipankar Chowdhary, Trainee IAS Animesh Ranjan and concerned officers, Magistrates and police officers and others were present on this occasion.
Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Kumar Sinha has also been the country’s Minister of State for Railways. He performed Abhishek of Baba Baidyanath today with the whole family in Baba Mandir.
On reaching Deoghar from Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha was also given a salute.
