Kia Seltos facelift: Kia India has recently launched the Seltos facelift SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle). If media reports are to be believed, then this car of Kia India is the best in mileage and its engine is also very strong. The vehicle manufacturer has also announced its price. Its starting price starts from Rs. 10.89 lakhs ex-showroom, while the price of the top-end X-Line trim goes up to Rs. 19.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
According to media reports quoting dealer sources, OEMs have received a strong response to the updated model for the top-line HTX+ and GTX+ trims. Sources said that the waiting period for the top-end trims of the newly launched model has gone up to three months, while the waiting period for the lower trims could be up to eight weeks. The new olive green shade has also gained strong traction.
The OEM Seltos facelift is offered through multiple variants and three trim lines Tech Line, GT Line and X Line. The updated model gets design updates, cabin upgrade, panoramic sunroof, ADAS level 2 technology and an all-new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.
Wireless phone charging and an eight-speaker Bose sound system have been introduced inside the cabin. A new layout for the driver display and rear window shade is included across all variants. The new Seltos now also gets ventilated front seats, power-adjustable driver seat and dual-zone auto climate control.
Design updates include a bigger tigernose grille and an all-new LED DRL signature design. The front bumper has also grown in size while there are new four-point fog lights on either side. At the rear, there is an all-new LED tail light design and a stretched LED bar on the boot.
The new 1.5-litre T-GDi petrol motor produces around 158 bhp power and 253 Nm torque. It comes mated to either a six-speed IMT or a seven-speed DCT unit. The mileage of this engine unit is claimed to be up to 17.9 kmpl.
