New Delhi : Kia India, the Indian subsidiary of South Korean car manufacturing company Kia Motor, has decided to increase the prices of its most popular SUV (Sports Utility Vehicles) Seltos. This step has been taken by the company when domestic and foreign car companies are offering attractive offers to woo customers during the festive season. However, the company had recently launched the facelift model of Seltos in the Indian car market. At that time its starting price was fixed between Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Now the company has increased the prices of its selected variants by about Rs 30,000.
The company increased the price of top variants
It is being said in media reports that the company has launched two variants of Seltos in the Indian car market. Because of this, their prices have been changed. However, for the benefit of the customers, it is being told that its starting price in ex-showroom will be around Rs 10.90 lakh only. The price of its top variant will be increased by about Rs 30,000 and after determining the new rate, now the price of its top variant has become Rs 20.30 lakh.
Three variants of Seltos facelift
Let us also tell you that Kia India has launched Seltos in three variants in the Indian car market. These include Tech Line, GT Line and X Line variants. Kia has introduced this new Seltos with ADAS Level-2 feature. Features like adaptive cruise controls, auto lane correction and auto braking have been provided in it. Along with this, Seltos has been provided with dual pane panoramic sunroof. This new car has a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which generates power of 158 HP.
