PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm UPI ID to be closed from December 31 – In the coming days, Google Pay, Phone Pay and Paytm users may face difficulty in doing UPI based transactions. The reason for this is that the UPI ID of many users can be closed from December 31. A circular has been issued by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) to Google Pay, Paytm and Phone Pay. In this, NPCI has instructed third party apps like Google Pay, Phone Pay and Paytm to close those UPI IDs which have not been active for one year from December 31, 2023.
