However, there has been a rise in the prices of petrol and diesel in some districts of Uttar Pradesh. In Noida and Greater Noida adjacent to Delhi, petrol is becoming cheaper by 17 paise at Rs 96.77 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.94 per litre. Whereas, in Prayag, Uttar Pradesh, the price of petrol has been reduced by a nominal seven paise. Here petrol is being sold at Rs 97.17 per liter and diesel at Rs 90.36 per litre. In PM Modi’s assembly constituency Varanasi, the prices of petrol and diesel have been reduced by 60 paise. Here petrol is available at Rs 96.89 and diesel at Rs 90.08 per litre. Whereas, in Gorakhpur there has been a reduction of only 34 paise. After this, petrol is available here at Rs 97.01 per liter and diesel at Rs 90.19 per liter. In Rajasthan too, petrol prices have fallen by about 13 paise. Here petrol is Rs 108.07 and diesel is Rs 93.35 per liter.
