People without fingers will also have Aadhaar card, Central Government gave such order

Now even those without fingers can make Aadhar card. Recently, when it came to light that a person from Kerala could not make an Aadhaar card due to the absence of a finger, the Central Government immediately ordered to take necessary steps to make an Aadhaar card.

After this order, the UIDAI team reached the residence of Seemol P Jose at Kumarakam in Kottayam district and Aadhar card Provided. Due to not having Aadhar card, he was not able to avail the benefits of government facilities. Giving this information, Union Minister of State for Skill Development, IT and Jal Shakti, Rajeev Chandrashekhar said that after this matter came to light, all Aadhaar service centers have been ordered to issue Aadhaar cards to all such persons who are disabled.

For this, alternative biometric should be used instead of finger print. No disabled person should be deprived of the benefits of government schemes. Aadhar should be made by scanning the eyes of the people who do not have fingers. Those people who do not have fingers and eyes in both the hands will also have to issue Aadhaar card without any problem.

It is worth noting that every year UIDAI makes Aadhar cards for one thousand people under special circumstances and till now Aadhar cards have been provided to 29 lakh such people. The government has asked to run a comprehensive public awareness campaign in this regard.
