In Gorakhpur, people suffering from the scorching heat can get relief on Friday. According to meteorologist Kailash Pandey, the atmospheric conditions for rain have become ready. Because of this, the process of rain with thunder and lightning can start from today. Which will continue intermittently till June 26. Due to the rain, the maximum and minimum temperature has dropped by three to four degrees Celsius.

According to the meteorologist, there is an area of ​​low air pressure in the lower atmosphere of central Uttar Pradesh and a cyclonic circulation in the upper atmosphere. Apart from this, a low pressure belt is passing through Uttar Pradesh from South Punjab and going up to Bihar. These atmospheric conditions are going to cause rain. According to the meteorologist, there will be light to moderate rain and the wind will blow at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour.

Due to the rain, there has been a drop in the maximum and minimum temperature. The maximum temperature will be recorded from 32 to 36 and the minimum temperature from 24 to 26 degree Celsius. The sky has been cloudy since Friday morning. Light drizzle is also happening intermittently. Due to which people have got some relief from this scorching heat. On Thursday the sky was cloudy but there was no rain. In the presence of clouds, the east wind carrying moisture from the Bay of Bengal continued to blow throughout the day, due to which the moisture increased.

With the support of moisture on Thursday, the sun increased the hit index of the city. Due to which people felt the heat of 5 degree Celsius more than the record temperature. Talking about the maximum temperature, 39 degree Celsius was recorded. But due to the humidity, the hit index of the city increased due to which people felt 44 degree Celsius. At the same time, due to the minimum temperature being 28.3 degree Celsius, there was no respite from the heat even at night.
