People of Kushida area of Harishchandrapur police station of Malda district were shocked to see the dead body of an unknown woman. This is the border area of Bengal and Bihar. The woman’s face was badly burnt by pouring acid and chilli. The dead body was lying naked. Chilli has also been found in delicate organs. This incident took place in the Nasarpur-Chochpada bridge area of the police station. The farmers who came to work in the fields in the morning caught sight of the woman. After this the police was informed. The primary guess of the police is that the woman was brutally murdered after allegedly being gang-raped. Police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. The woman has not been identified. People from many villages had gathered on the spot. No one identified the woman. The age of the woman is around 30 to 35. Many marks of being stabbed with a knife were also found on the woman’s body. Acid was spread all over the place. The knife used in the murder has also been found. His burnt clothes and condoms were also found. Although this is a border area. Police are speculating that the woman may also be from Bihar.
