People of these 6 districts of Jharkhand vote for the candidate of Khunti Lok Sabha constituency.

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Ranchi, Pranav: There are total 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand. Among these is Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat, whose voters are only from East Singhbhum district. Khunti is a seat in which people from six districts Seraikela-Kharsawan, West Singhbhum, Ranchi, Khunti, Simdega and Gumla districts are voters.

Khunti Lok Sabha constituency has six assembly constituencies: Kharsawan, Tamar, Torpa, Khunti, Simdega and Kolebira. Among these, Tamar falls in Ranchi district. Kharsawan assembly constituency falls in Khunti Lok Sabha constituency and Kharsawan includes some part of West Singhbhum district.

Similarly, some part of Gumla district falls in Kolebira assembly constituency of Simdega. There are seven seats out of 14 in the state which fall in three districts. The number of seats falling in two districts is three.

When are the Lok Sabha elections in Khunti?

Voting is to be held in the first phase of Jharkhand in Khunti Lok Sabha constituency. Voting will take place here on May 13. Khunti is a seat reserved for Scheduled Tribes, from where Union Minister Arjun Munda is once again contesting the elections. When the fourth phase of elections is being held in the country, then the first phase of voting will be held in Jharkhand. Its notification will be issued on 18 April 2024.
