Here, Aligarh District Magistrate has also formed a flying squad to stop farmers from burning stubble, but on Saturday, the pace of air pollution was seen increasing in Aligarh. The air quality index near Sarsaul intersection reached 160 at 3 pm. Social worker Gyanendra Mishra said that the AQI standard was known through the weather app. He told that reaching AQI level of 160 means dying a slow death.
Pollution levels increased due to traffic jams, vehicles standing still, dust and smoke

In Aligarh, PM 2.5 was 160 on Saturday, while PM10 was 132. Which is considered in bad ranking and has adverse effects on the health of the people. Municipal Corporation PRO Ahsan Rab said that construction work is going on near Sarsaul intersection. Due to which there is problem of traffic jam. He told that efforts will be made to stop pollution on Sunday.
Increase in air quality index can cause serious illness
