The Christmas festival procession was taken out from Loyla Maidan on Purulia Road to Albert Ekka Chowk via Dangratoli Chowk, Purulia Road. Hundreds of youth participated. During this, the artists of Rejoice Youth Band performed live on an open vehicle. The whole world says this is the night, Jesus was born…, let’s go, Jesus is born in the village of Bethlehem, I have saved…, brother, the golden golden blanket is swinging…, in which corner the broom and the star were shining…, in the manger. Presented many happy Christmas songs like Sutaay Dele Maa Maryam Apna Dular Jesus Son Ke…, Sheet Paani Jharaay Ai Ho Rait Ke Andhera Kareena Re Pahera Gaderia Laathi Teik Teik O Ho…. The festival march reached Sarjana Chowk via Albert Ekka Chowk. Here the Christmas cake was cut and people were wished a Happy Christmas and New Year.

On this occasion, Bishop of Daltenganj Theodore Mascarenhas said that this is the time of Christmas, the time of happiness. You are celebrating the carnival of youth Christmas. We celebrate this because a small child came into this world to show us the way to walk. This is the path of love and peace.
