Encroachment near Bahubazar, trouble
E-rickshaws have encroached near the church of Bahu Bazar, due to which there is jam most of the time. Due to the construction of Kantatoli flyover, that road has been made one way. Two-wheelers and four-wheelers coming towards Sirmtoli Chowk are being sent towards Oxford School via Basar Toli and Naya Toli. Due to which all types of vehicles have to go towards Kantatoli via Bahu Bazar Chowk Church. Autos coming from Sujata side also enter this road, because the road has been fixed for autos from Bahubazar to Karbala Chowk, Plaza Nucleus Mall to Kachari and Ratu Road. All types of vehicles enter from Bahu Bazar and due to the accumulation of e-rickshaws there, a situation of jam is created.

The e-rickshaws that deviated from their route were fined. Under this, a fine of five thousand rupees was kept for the first time, 10 thousand rupees in the second time and 25 thousand rupees in the third time. The corporation had collected a fine of Rs 12 lakh in two years from these e-rickshaws which were running in violation of the rules. The effect of this was that the e-rickshaws where they got the route used to ply on the same route.
E-rickshaws are charging arbitrary fare
