No call, no OTP and money withdrawn from account

Miscreants have withdrawn Rs 92 thousand 134 from the account of Kumar Neeraj, resident of Gardnibagh Road No. 6. Neeraj neither received a call nor shared any OTP from the cyber miscreants, yet money was withdrawn from his account in more than 15 transactions. Sameer Kumar, a resident of Gardnibagh, was cheated of Rs 49980 in the name of updating his credit card. The miscreants called and said that the credit card has not been updated. This will result in a charge. After this, the miscreants sent fake credit card apps on WhatsApp and got them installed. As soon as it was installed, money was withdrawn from the account.

Cheated money by pretending to be offer on credit card

Similarly, miscreants withdrew Rs 99 thousand 910 and Rs 50 thousand 470 from the account of Rajkaran Kumar, resident of East Ramakrishnanagar, in two times. The miscreants called Rajkaran and said that an offer has come on his credit card. After some time this money will be transferred to your account. During the conversation, the miscreants took OTP from Rajkaran and withdrew money from the account.

Man becomes victim of sextortion, cheated of Rs 21,500

A young man living in Gardnibagh police station area has been made a victim of sextortion by cyber miscreants. By making video call thrice, the miscreants took pictures and videos. After this, he started demanding money by impersonating the police of cyber station. Fearing public shame, the person first transferred Rs 21,500. After this he again started demanding Rs 43 thousand. If the demand was not met, the video went viral and he started threatening to send police to the house. After this the young man complained about this in the cyber police station.

Cheated seven thousand rupees by posing as police of Kotwali police station

Mo Saifuddin Khan of Sultanganj has been duped of seven thousand rupees by the police of cyber vicious Kotwali police station. Saifuddin works in a medicine shop. The miscreants sent a message on his mobile and ordered the medicine and said that they would pay the money online. Will come and take it from the medicine shop. The shopkeeper took out the medicine and called the number of the vicious person. The vicious person asked for the number for online payment and by sending a fake message of more than seven thousand rupees instead of seven rupees, he threatened him and got the money deposited in his account. The vicious man told the shopkeeper that he was a policeman at the Kotwali police station.
