Many cultural programs, marathons, fairs etc. are going to be organized here for the entertainment of the people. Many of these programs have already started, for which crowds of people are gathering at Gandhi Maidan every day. This series of programs is going to continue till January. 40 publishers set up 100 stalls in Samay India National Book Fair
Various publishers have set up stalls in the book fair organized by Samay India at Gandhi Maidan. New books have also been arranged on every stall. About 40 publishers from across the country have set up 100 stalls in this fair which will run till 10th December. Children’s lullabies, Kitna Kaam Kitna Kaaz, Gunahon Ka Devta, Pather Panchali, Hamari Parampara etc. are attracting book lovers in the fair. Let us tell you that novels, stories, poetry, poetry, drama, health, women’s discussion, tribal Dalit literature, science, competitive examination, civil service, criticism, children’s book etc. are available in the fair. Various programs are being organized here every day. This includes short story reading, poetry conference, poetry recital, story writing, fancy dress competition, discussion on children’s literature, children’s poet seminar, painting competition etc.
Magician Shankar Samrat will have three shows
Magic show organized by magician Shankar Samrat has started at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. This show will be held near gate number seven for a month. On Tuesday, magician Shankar Samrat said that this will be the biggest magic show of Bihar so far, where the audience will be shown magic tricks with modern technology. Along with entertaining people through this magic show, he will also give the message of eradicating social evils. This show will be of 6 thousand seconds. There will be a lot of entertainment for the entire family with magical thrills. There will be three shows daily. Which will run till 1 pm, 4 pm and 6:30 pm. For the magic show, general ticket has been kept at Rs 150, silver ticket at Rs 250, golden ticket at Rs 400 and diamond ticket at Rs 500. Magician Shankar Samrat’s team manager Sudarshan Pandey and other members were present on the occasion.
80 to 90 stalls in crafts fair
80 to 90 stalls have been set up by hand craftsmen in the crafts fair which started from November 25 at Gandhi Maidan. Which includes Khadi clothes of Meerut, Banarasi sarees, Bhagalpur suits, Rajasthani pickles, bangles of Firozabad. Apart from this, stalls of children’s toys, make-up for women and household items have also been set up.
Sand Selfie Point attraction at Disneyland Fair
Disneyland fair is being organized at Gandhi Maidan from 22nd November. This fair, which will run till January 5, will be special in many ways. Various types of swings have been installed in the fair. This time the swings imported from China are the center of special attraction in the fair. Special lighting has been done in it. For the first time, sand artists will come to this fair who will create sand selfie points. Along with this, many counters will also be set up to promote entrepreneurs.
Everything will be special in CRD Patna Book Fair to be organized on the theme of women leadership.
The 27th CRD Patna Book Fair will be held at Gandhi Maidan from 1-12 December. This time the theme of Patna Book Fair is ‘Women Leadership’ and it will be organized at Gate No. 10 of Gandhi Maidan. This time around 100 publishers of the country will participate in the fair with their new and important books. Sita-Shakti will be a special program under Sur-Sangeet programme. In this, Sita’s life and her leadership will be presented through song and story. It will be presented by popular singer Satyendra Sangeet. Such an event will be organized for the first time in the country. Many stalwarts of art, literature, culture and journalism will participate in other various programs. Book lovers of Patna and Bihar will be able to communicate directly with leading editors of the country and get answers to their questions. Under the Kahwa Ghar program, you will get an opportunity to meet editor-in-chief Shashi Shekhar and executive editor Vishnu Tripathi. Poet Ashok Vajpayee and Sahitya Akademi Award winning poet Badri Narayan will also participate in the program. There will be dialogue with the country’s leading writers Jayanti Ranganathan, Sanjeev Paliwal and Geeta Shree. Children coming in school uniform will have free entry. Whereas for adults the ticket will be Rs 20.
Arijit Singh’s concert on 10th December
Bollywood singer Arijit Singh’s program is to be held on December 10 at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. A place has been marked for this concert near Gate No. 1 of Gandhi Maidan. Apart from this, Saras Fair and Ulan Fair are also being organized at Gandhi Maidan.
Patna Marathon on 17th December
Patna Marathon program will be organized on 17th December for the widespread promotion of de-addiction. Marathon is being organized for the first time in Patna. Before this, half marathon had been happening. Last year, Patna Half Marathon was successfully organized on 27th November, in which about 10 thousand participants participated. About 14 thousand people are likely to participate in the Patna Marathon this year. The registration process for this has been completed. The official said that organizing the Patna Marathon will strengthen efforts to promote health and fitness along with de-addiction. Along with prohibition, many departments including district administration, police, health, municipal corporation, transport, traffic, PHED, electricity, fire, disaster management have a role in this. It is noteworthy that this time participants will participate in four different categories in Patna Marathon.
