Patna Police busy preparing for Lok Sabha elections, sent Goonda proposal and CCA proposal against hundreds of criminals – BollywoodWallah

Patna Police has started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. By running a special drive, Patna Police has sent a proposal to impose CCA-3 against 241 criminals. Whereas CCA-12 has been sent against 22 persons and Goonda proposal has been sent against 518 criminals. Apart from this, instructions have been given to the police station officers to organize goonda parade every Sunday. Whereas 107 actions have been taken against 9667 persons and bonds have been issued. Apart from this, 110 actions have been taken against 139 persons.

28 pending attachments executed

City SP East Bharat Soni said that 28 pending attachments and 174 warrants have been executed by running the special drive. He told that 151 accused have been arrested in this operation. At the same time, raids are being conducted by identifying hot spots regarding liquor, in which 1250 liters of domestic and 4403 liters of foreign liquor have been recovered. 860 grams of ganja has also been seized. Apart from this, during vehicle checking, two country-made pistols and two live cartridges were also recovered. He told that arms verification is also being done. To stop smuggling of drugs and weapons from the river, orders have been given to patrol the river by boat.

Railway Police will make check points at the border places of the states

A meeting was held at the Railway Police Center office on Friday regarding the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from the Superintendents of Railway Police of Prayagraj and Dhanbad, Senior Divisional Security Commissioners of different divisions, all the Deputy Superintendents of Railway Police and Police Inspectors were also present in the meeting. In the meeting, it has been decided to create check points at the border places of the states to arrest the smuggling of illegal liquor, weapons, cash, drugs etc. in the railway sector and the absconding accused. Along with this, action against Naxal activities and formation of special team and intensive checking campaign were discussed.

Chief Election Commissioner held a meeting in Patna

It is noteworthy that the team of Election Commission of India had reached Patna recently. The Chief Election Commissioner himself came to review the election preparations and held a meeting with senior officials including DM and SP of all the districts. During this time, all the officers were instructed to come into election mode. After which the administration has started preparations for elections in the districts.
