On Sunday evening, a truck crushed a husband, wife and an innocent girl going on a bike near Anisabad Golambar, adjacent to the capital Patna. In the accident, the innocent girl and wife died on the spot. While the bike rider has been seriously injured. After this accident, the local people started creating ruckus and chased away the traffic police.
Angered by this incident, people pelted stones and broke the glass panes of many vehicles. Gardnibagh police station reached the spot and brought the situation under control and picked up the body and sent it to the hospital. After the incident, people became calm after the police explained it. It is said that Nalanda resident Siddheshwar Prasad lives with his family in Punaichak. On Sunday, he along with his wife Nirma Kumari and 6 year old daughter Shrishti were going back to their home after meeting a relative’s house by bike. A truck hit his bike at Anisabad Golambar. As soon as the push took place, the mother and daughter fell off the bike and were crushed by the truck. Both died on the spot.
After this, Siddheshwar Prasad started wailing inconsolably after seeing the dead bodies of his wife and daughter and people started creating ruckus. The glasses of many vehicles were broken by pelting stones. People also chased away the traffic police present there. After getting the news of the uproar, DSP Secretariat Sushil Kumar, Police Station Head Ranjit Kumar, Inspector Rajiv Kumar arrived with the force and somehow pacified the matter by convincing the people. After the accident, the driver left the truck and ran away. The truck was confiscated by the police.
