The consignment of liquor was brought from DDU to Patna by keeping it in the washroom of Vikramshila Express coming from Delhi to Patna and got down by pulling the chain near the secretariat halt. Also, due to a dispute, liquor smugglers abducted Mohit Kumar, a resident of Kaushambi, UP, who was traveling in the S-4 bogie of the train. This incident is being told late on Sunday night. The abducted youth has been the driver of the SP MLA. Police recovered the young man after investigation.
Youth recovered after raid
On getting the information about the case, the team of Railway DSP Sushant Kumar, GRP Police Station Head Gopal Mandal, RPF in-charge Sushil Kumar started the raid and in two hours, Mohit Kumar was safely recovered from a house in Kaushal Nagar of Airport Police Station. Along with this, three miscreants Avinash Kumar and Ganesh Bind of Kaushal Nagar and Arpan Kumar of Shahjahanpur were arrested. Along with this, 36 liters of liquor, three mobile phones and a bike have been seized from these people.
SP MLA’s driver kidnapped
Kidnapped Mohit Chayal is the driver of SP MLA Pooja Pal of the constituency. Railway SP AS Thakur told that in two hours everyone was arrested and the abductor was rescued. Some more people were involved in the incident, to nab them, raids are being conducted.
There was a dispute over opening the door of the washroom
Mohit had a dispute with liquor smugglers regarding opening the door of the washroom. He was going to Deoghar by Vikramshila Express along with his cousin Atul Kumar and others. Meanwhile, he reached near the washroom at around 3 o’clock on Sunday night. Three-four youths were standing there. They had closed the door of the washroom. When Mohit asked to open it, they refused. They beat Mohit for this matter. When Atul came to save him, he was also beaten up. After this, when people started increasing in large numbers, the liquor smugglers pulled the chain and got down near the secretariat halt. Along with this, they forcibly took the consignment of liquor and Mohit along with them.
30 thousand rupees ransom demand
Meanwhile the train started and reached Patna Junction. Where the people accompanying Mohit informed the railway police about the matter and handed over the video made of the assault. Meanwhile, liquor smugglers called Mohit’s uncle Dr. Sanjay Kumar and demanded a ransom of Rs 30,000. After this, the Railway Police started taking the location of that number, then it was found that it belongs to Kaushal Nagar of Airport Police Station. The railway police reached the house within two hours, but Avinash started running after seeing the police. But the police caught him and then on his tip Mohit was recovered safely from Ganesh Bind’s house in Kaushal Nagar itself.
