Patna. The High Court has granted regular bail to Bihar YouTuber Manish Kashyap, who was made accused in the case of uploading a video on YouTube and making it viral while handcuffed. A single bench of Justice Sunil Kumar Panwar gave this direction while hearing the regular bail petition filed by Manish Kashyap. Manish Kashyap has got bail in all the cases registered in Bihar, but there is doubt about Manish Kashyap coming out of jail.
Accused of sharing picture while wearing handcuffs
Manish Kashyap is accused of uploading a photo on YouTube of a person being handcuffed and being taken to a train in police custody by the police. Regarding this matter, the Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar had filed FIR number 5/2023 against Manish Kashyap on March 12, 2023. In which he had filed a bail application.
There is still doubt about coming out of jail
Different claims are being made regarding Manish Kashyap’s release from jail. Manish Kashyap’s brother has told the local media that Manish may be released from jail on Thursday. However, Manish Kashyap has not been granted bail in the case registered against him in Tamil Nadu. In such a situation, even after getting bail in this case, Manish Kashyap will not be able to come out of jail. However, Manish has got bail from Patna High Court in two cases registered in Bihar.
Bail has been received from Bettiah Court
Manish had already got bail in all the cases from Patna Civil Court. Bail had also been obtained from Bettiah Court. A case was pending in Patna High Court, in which bail has been granted today. Now there is no such case against Manish in Bihar in which he has to get bail. In such a situation, it was certain that he would be released from jail, but he would have to get bail in the case registered outside Bihar.
Festive atmosphere in the family
According to Manish Kashyap’s channel Sachtak, now the bail papers from Patna High Court will go to the Civil Court. After that tomorrow i.e. on Thursday the bailer will be filled in the civil court. Then he will be recalled to Beur jail from civil court. After this he will be released. According to Mani Dwivedi, Manish Kashyap may come out of jail on Friday. After such news came on social media, there is an atmosphere of celebration in Manish Kashyap’s family. Along with this, Manish Kashyap’s fans are also expressing happiness in their own style.
Surrendered in March
Manish Kashyap had surrendered in the fake video case of Tamil Nadu on March 18 this year. After this he remained lodged in Madurai jail and then in Beur for a few days. YouTuber Manish Kashyap’s troubles had increased for sharing a fake video of assault on workers from Bihar in Tamil Nadu. In this case, the Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police had registered an FIR against Manish Kashyap. When the raids started in this case, Manish Kashyap had fled Bihar for several days due to fear of arrest. Raids were conducted at many places in search of him.
Tamil Nadu Police had taken him on March 30
When Bettiah police started confiscation of Manish’s house in another case on March 18, he surrendered in the local police station. On the same day, the EOU team from Patna had taken him into custody in their case. He was taken on remand, interrogated and sent to jail. Immediately after Manish Kashyap surrendered, the Tamil Nadu Police team reached Patna. On March 30, Tamil Nadu Police took him on transit remand. However, he was brought back to Patna in August, after which Bettiah Court ordered to keep Manish in Bihar jail. Since then Manish Kashyap is lodged in Beur jail of Patna.
