Patna. Five policemen have been suspended in Patna. All five policemen are accused of hitting the motorcyclist and absconding, leaving the injured abandoned on the road. Both the injured in this accident died due to lack of treatment. The secret of this inhuman act of the police came to light when the CCTV installed there was being scrutinized during the investigation of this accident. As soon as the information about the case reached the police officials, all five policemen were suspended with immediate effect. Further action is being taken.
The youth had committed suicide in the middle of the road
According to the information, two youths riding a bike had died in a road accident on Khagaul Road in Danapur on the night of 31st December. The entire incident was captured in CCTV footage. In this, the patrol vehicle of Shahpur police station had hit the bike rider Amit Kumar, resident of Lakhni Bigha, and Shivam Mandal, resident of Khagaul Neura Colony. Both the youths riding the bike were seriously injured and the policemen ran away, leaving them to die on the middle of the road. In this accident, both the youths died due to lack of treatment.
Secret revealed through CCTV footage
Instead of taking the youth for treatment, the police left them on the spot and ran away. Due to which both the youth died. When the relatives of the deceased, Amit and his friend Shivam Mandal, after a lot of effort, searched the CCTV footage, the truth about being hit by the police patrol car came to light. After which the family appealed to the SSP for justice. The family appealed to the SSP regarding the matter, only then they got justice.
Five policemen suspended
SSP has suspended SI Varun Kumar Singh, driver and three constables traveling on the patrol car. Also, a case has been registered against four policemen including SI Varun Kumar Singh at Shahpur police station. Police Station Head Manish Kumar said that on the instructions of SSP and ASP, a case has been registered against four police personnel including SI Varun Kumar Singh.

ASP Deeksha told that Amit Kumar, resident of Lakhni Bigha and Shivam Mandal, resident of Khagaul Neura Colony had died in the road accident that took place on the night of 31st December. This accident happened with a police car. On this basis, police investigation was conducted. The policeman of the patrol team traveling in that vehicle has been suspended. Further action is being taken.
