From 14.01.2024, train number 13347 Barkakana-Patna Palamu Express will reach McCluskieganj station at 22.38 hrs and will depart from here at 22.40 hrs. After this, train number 13348 Patna-Barkakana Palamu Express will reach McCluskieganj station at 05.45 and will depart from here at 05.47.

Action against 199 people under section 141

East Central Railway has been taking regular action against those who stop trains illegally by pulling chains without sufficient reason. Similarly, such people are being kept under strict vigil by the security forces of East Central Railway under Operation “Time Keeping”. So that, trains are not delayed unnecessarily. Apart from this, a campaign is also run for “women’s safety”. Under Operation Samay Palan last week, 199 people were detained by the Railway Protection Force team from January 01 to January 08 on charges of chain pulling without proper reason in various railway sections of East Central Railway. Action was taken against these people under Section 141 of the Railway Act. Under operation “Time Keeping”, maximum 110 people were caught in Danapur division in these 08 days. Whereas. 38 people were detained in Samastipur division, 23 in Sonpur division, 19 in Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay division and 09 in Dhanbad division.

578 male passengers taken into custody

Similarly, in view of the safety of women, under Operation “Women’s Safety”, a search and arrest campaign was also conducted against male passengers traveling in women’s coaches. Under Operation “Women’s Safety”, last week from 01 January to 08 January, the team of Railway Protection Force detained 578 male passengers under Section 162 of the Railway Act on charges of traveling in women coaches on various railway sections of East Central Railway. taken . Of these, maximum 384 male passengers were detained in Danapur division, 94 in Sonpur division, 83 in Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay division and 17 male passengers were detained in Samastipur division.

More than one lakh rupees seized as fine

Danapur Division of East Central Railway is constantly alert and working for the convenience of railway passengers traveling with proper ticket authority. In this sequence, a continuous ticket checking campaign was conducted intensively in various sections of Danapur division against traveling by train without proper authorization. During this time, separate teams of Commerce Department officials, ticket checking squads and RPF personnel were deployed and thorough ticket checking was done on the platforms and in the trains passing through the station. During this campaign, ticket checking was mainly done at Phulwari Sharif station of the division and Patna station on 09.01.2024. In which an amount of Rs 1,89,760/- was received as fine from 317 ticketless and irregular ticket holders. Besides, awareness was also created among the passengers to buy tickets through ATVM and UTS mobile app. It may be noted that till now in the month of January, a total of Rs 1,69,83,706/- has been recovered as fine from a total of 24 thousand 01 hundred 10 (24,110) cases. As a result of these ticket checking campaigns, increased crowd was seen at the ticket counters of the stations and passengers became aware about traveling by train by purchasing proper tickets. Officers of the Commerce Department of Danapur Division, ticket checking staff and RPF staff were also involved in this ticket checking campaign. Such ticket checking campaign will continue in the division also. It is known that such action is often taken by the Railways.
