Early on Monday morning, a student going for coaching was shot dead by miscreants in the middle of the road in Masaurhi, adjacent to the capital Patna. After this incident, a situation of chaos has arisen in the entire area. After the murder, the criminals ran away with ease while firing. As soon as information about the matter was received, SP Masaurhi reached the spot with his team and started investigating the matter. At present the dead body is being sent for post-mortem. The police have started searching for the criminals by scanning the CCTV footage installed in the surrounding area. The deceased is said to be Anamika, a student of local Chapaur village.
Happened just 500 meters away from the police station
This incident of murder happened just 500 meters away from the police station. Near Manichak turn of Masaurhi, criminals targeted a student going for coaching and shot and killed her. The bullet hit the student’s temple, causing her death on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Anamika, 17-year-old daughter of Kamlesh Kumar, resident of Nadwan Chapaur, Kazichak. It is said that Anamika used to come every day from her village to study drafts.
Raids started to arrest the youth
Even on Monday, while she was going for coaching, she was shot dead on the way. After getting information about the incident, Masaurhi police reached the spot and took possession of the body and brought it to the sub-divisional hospital where the doctors declared it dead. The reason behind the incident is not yet known. But it is said that the young man who committed the murder fled towards Patel Nagar after shooting. Along with investigating the incident, the police have also cordoned off the Patel Nagar area. The police have also informed the family members. Some matters will be resolved only after the arrival of family members.
