The government and administration are making people aware to protect and improve the environment as well as to remove pollution. Swachh Bharat Mission is an ambitious scheme of the Central Government. Medininagar Municipal Corporation administration is also making people aware about cleanliness. Many types of activities are being conducted in this regard.
In this series, the corporation administration organized cleanliness seminars in many schools of the city and gave detailed information about cleanliness to the school teachers and children. An appeal is being made to cooperate with the city residents to keep the city clean and protect the environment from pollution. On the other hand, the environment is being polluted every day by the Municipal Corporation. The waste collected from different areas of the city is dumped by the corporation near Mangardaha on Shahpur-Garhwa road.
About 50 tonnes of garbage is thrown away by the corporation every day. Common passers-by are troubled by the foul smell emanating from garbage. The same pile of garbage is set on fire. Burning of garbage produces poisonous smoke, which causes fatal diseases. Pedestrians start suffocating due to poisonous smoke coming out from the fire. From time to time, the burning garbage is spread by JCB of the corporation, so that the entire garbage gets burnt. It is said that the garbage heap remains on fire 24 hours and poisonous Smoke comes out, which is injurious to health. In this way, the Municipal Corporation Administration is playing with the lives of the common man by polluting the environment.
