Four policemen were killed and six others were injured in a bomb blast by unidentified gunmen and firing on the vehicle of security personnel deployed for election security on Thursday near the Afghanistan border in Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Voting amid allegations of rigging in general elections in Pakistan

In view of voting, today was declared a public holiday in Pakistan. Counting of votes will start immediately after the completion of voting. About 6,50,000 security personnel have been deployed for the general elections.
