Oxygen cylinder blast outside the hospital in Lucknow left workers in tatters, one dead in Mainpuri, four burnt

Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, two major accidents occurred due to gas cylinders in Mainpuri and Lucknow on Thursday. Two laborers were seriously injured when an oxygen cylinder exploded in Thakurganj area of ​​Lucknow. Both their hands and legs were amputated in the accident. At the same time, a woman died in a fire due to leakage in a gas cylinder in Ramaihar of Mainpuri Kotwali area. Four other people got burnt.

Due to the explosion, the workers jumped several meters away and fell.

The oxygen cylinder exploded while being unloaded from the dala outside JPS Hospital near Balaganj intersection in Thakurganj area of ​​Lucknow. Oxygen cylinders exploded with a loud bang. The employees had taken Shobhit and Arif Dala. After parking the car outside the hospital, as soon as both of them went back and tried to lift the cylinder, there was an explosion in the cylinder. Arif and Shobhit jumped and fell several meters away.

Many parts of the body were in tatters. The bodies of both of them were lying on the road soaked in blood in such a way that no one even had the courage to help them. On receiving someone’s information, 108 ambulance team arrived. With the help of police personnel, both were admitted to the hospital. ADCP West Chiranjeev Nath Sinha said that treatment of the injured is a priority. After investigation it will be seen what was the reason for the accident. At the same time, JPS Hospital administration says that they had not given any order for oxygen cylinder.

Accident due to leakage of LPG gas cylinder in Mainpuri

Mainpuri Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinod Kumar informed PTI that Arjun was trying to fix the problem of leakage of LPG gas cylinder. As soon as he lit the stove, a fire broke out, due to which five people got seriously burnt. He told that Arjun, his sister Kunti (18), brother Vikram (15), Nitin (11) and mother Maya Devi (53) got burnt in the fire. The officer said that the villagers reached the spot to save them and conducted a rescue operation. The injured were taken to the hospital where Kunti died.

Two rooms of the house which caught fire were badly damaged.

SP Mainpuri said that the police including Area Officer (City) Santosh Kumar Singh and Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar took the injured to the hospital. Among the injured, the condition of three people, including two women, is critical, who were taken to the Medical College in Saifai. One of these women, Kunti, died on the way. Police said that two rooms of the house where the fire broke out were badly damaged.
