Outrage erupted in Dhanbad, women troubled by pollution stopped outsourcing work

Dhanbad News: Distressed by the dust particles flying from the excavation work of the outsourcing company operating in Alkusa of Kusunda region, the women of Godhar Kurmidih township interrupted the work of the company for about five hours on Saturday reaching the project site. Meanwhile the men of the town also reached. The women accused the working style of the company. It is said that for the last several days the villagers are troubled by the dust particles flying from the company. But for the last one week, the life of the people of the township has become difficult. Dust particles (shadow) of burnt coal are falling in large quantities in people’s homes. The courtyard, roof, food and water of the house are getting frozen like a layer. Due to this, the health of the people is being affected badly.

On getting the information, NGKC manager Mintu Kumar reached the project and tried to convince, but the women did not agree. Meanwhile, mass leader Hari Prasad Pappu reached the project site and asked manager Mintu Kumar to take concrete steps on the issue of pollution. After this, the manager requested for talks in the PO office. Positive talks were held with the NGKC management at the PO office at Godhar. In this, the NGKC management gave a written assurance of taking all possible steps to reduce pollution. After this the outsourcing work started smoothly.
