Outbreak of severe heat wave will continue in Bihar for two more days, monsoon may knock after June 20

The severe heatwave in Bihar is forecast to continue for the next two days. On Friday, only some areas in East Bihar got relief from the scorching heat. A cyclonic circulation has formed in this region. There is a possibility of rain at some places in this region especially in Kishanganj and Araria for the next two days.

Although, according to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon may knock in Bihar after June 20, but the effect of monsoon rains will be visible after June 25. On Friday, there was severe heat wave at 19 places including Patna, Vaishali, Sheikhpura, Valmiki Nagar and Bhojpur. Out of this, conditions of severe heat wave have been created at 10 places. According to the forecast of IMD, till 10 and 11, more or less the whole of Bihar will be in the grip of heat wave. Here, IMD has said that pre-monsoon rains will start in Jharkhand from June 12.

Patna’s temperature reaches record 44.4 degrees, life disrupted

According to the official report of IMD, the highest temperature in the state was recorded in Vaishali. The temperature here was 44.8 degree Celsius. The highest temperature was recorded at 44.6 in Bhojpur, 44.4 in Patna, 44.1 in Sheikhpura and 44 degree Celsius in Valmikinagar. Nalanda recorded 43.8, Jiradei 43.4, Gaya 43.3, Aurangabad 43.2 and Chapra 43.1 degrees Celsius. Significantly, compared to the last three years in Patna, there has been a record temperature in June. Here, the monsoon reached Kerala on Friday with heavy rains. On Saturday, it knocked in the Northeast as well.
