Train Status: There is good news for the passengers traveling by train in Bihar. The operating period of two pairs of special trains has been extended. This information has been shared by Chief Public Relations Officer Virendra Kumar. Keeping in view the convenience of the passengers, Railways has decided to extend the operating period of the special trains being run. Apart from this, NI work is being done in view of the doubling work at Changsari and Agiathari stations of Rangia Division of North Eastern Railway. For this reason, 03 pairs of trains passing through this railway section will be operated through the diverted route. This decision has been taken for trains running via New Bongaigaon Jn.- Goalpara Town- Kamakhya. Apart from this, Kamakhya-Gowalpara Town- New Bongaigaon Jn. A decision has also been taken for the trains running through.

4. Train No. 05566 Ambala Cantt- Saharsa Special will operate from Ambala Cantt on every Saturday from 13.01.2024 to 27.01.2024 (total 03 more trips).
General Manager inspected the plant depot
Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Railways has taken this decision. It is known that Railways often takes many decisions for the passengers. In this context, the operating period of trains has increased. Also, changes have been made in the routes of trains. Apart from this, Railway General Manager Anil Kumar Khandelwal has inspected the plant depot. Anil Kumar Khandelwal, General Manager of East Central Railway, conducted a thorough inspection of Plant Depot, DDU. During this, he took stock of the various facilities available including machines and equipment. Along with this, the General Manager also inspected the machines and equipment etc. in the track machine section of the plant depots. During the inspection, the General Manager also took information from various employees working there about the technical aspect of their work and encouraged them for better work performance. During this, the officials of the employee union informed the General Manager about various issues related to employee welfare. The General Manager gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers in this regard. During the inspection, Divisional Railway Manager of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Division Shri Rajesh Gupta and other officials were present.
Organization of meeting of Mandal Parliamentary Committee
Here, the meeting of ‘Divisional Parliamentary Committee’ of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Mandal was organized in the auditorium of Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, DDU. Honorable MPs from Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Mandal jurisdiction participated in this meeting. The meeting was presided over by Honorable MP of Sasaram, Chhedi Paswan. In the meeting, issues related to public interest and their suggestions for the all-round development of Railways were put forward by the Honorable MPs. On this occasion, General Manager of East Central Railway, Anil Kumar Khandelwal, Divisional Railway Manager of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Division, Mr. Rajesh Gupta and officials of Headquarters and Division were present.
