The date of Lok Sabha elections is coming closer, but the opposition parties of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have not yet announced all the candidates. Even for Jamshedpur seat, the candidate has not been declared.
There is a delay in announcing the candidates of the ruling coalition
The distribution of seats has been done between Jharkhand’s ruling party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and its constituent parties, but the party workers are upset with the delay in announcing the candidates. The candidate for Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat has not been announced yet. JMM’s meeting was held at the Tribal Association Hall in Sitaramdera, Jamshedpur on Wednesday (April 10) on the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections.
Brainstorming also took place on the Nyaya Ulgulan rally of April 21 in Ranchi.
In the meeting, the status of the organization, candidates from Jamshedpur for Lok Sabha elections 2024 and Nyaya Ulgulan rally were discussed. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) district president and Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren participated in it. Apart from these, MLA Sanjeev Sardar, MLA Mangal Kalindi and senior party leaders also presented their views.
Issue of Jamshedpur Lok Sabha candidate raised in JMM meeting
The issue of the candidate for Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat also came up in the meeting. It was said that there is a lot of discussion going on whether the candidate will be from the party or outside the party. On this, JMM District President Ramdas Soren made it clear that the candidate from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat will be someone from within the party. No external candidate will enter JMM.

Central leadership is brainstorming on Jamshedpur candidate: Ramdas
He said that intense brainstorming is going on on the issue of who should be made the Lok Sabha candidate from Jamshedpur seat. The central leadership of JMM will take a decision on this in a day or two and the name of the candidate will also be announced. He said that no matter who the party’s candidate is, the district committee has made all preparations to ensure his victory. Party workers are active at all 1,800 booths from city to village.
He also expressed his opinion in the JMM meeting
MLA Sanjeev Sardar, MLA Mangal Kalindi, Mohan Karmakar, Dulal Bhuiyan, Aastik Mahato, Sunil Mahato, Raju Giri, Pramod Lal, Birsingh Suren and other leaders presented their views. He said that all the workers should unite and work for the party and the organization.
BJP was afraid of Hemant, hence put him in jail
Ramdas Soren said that BJP had realized that they would not be able to survive under Hemant Soren. Therefore, he was put in jail as part of a conspiracy, so that BJP could easily win the Lok Sabha elections. But, BJP’s dream of victory is never going to be fulfilled. The morale of JMM party workers is strong. BJP will not be allowed to survive here.

More than 20 thousand people will go to Nyay Ulgulan rally
Ramdas Soren said that on April 21, more than 20 thousand people from East Singhbhum will participate in the Nyaya Ulgulan rally at Prabhat Tara Ground in Dhurwa, Ranchi. On behalf of the District Committee, all the Block Presidents and Secretaries of the party, Block Presidents and Secretaries as well as Panchayat Presidents and Secretaries have been instructed to participate in this rally along with their workers. All the MLAs of the party have also been instructed to go to the Nyaya Ulgulan rally along with as many people as possible from the assembly constituency.
District President of East Singhbhum reprimanded the block presidents
District President Ramdas Soren reprimanded the chairpersons of various blocks. Said that Block President and Secretary are very important posts of the party. It is his responsibility to keep the organization strong at every level at the block level. Besides, it is also their job to follow every instruction of the District Committee. Many block committee presidents and secretaries did not complete the tasks of the district committee. Therefore, complete the pending works without any delay and provide complete information to the district committee.
