Bihar Corona Update: The situation of corona infection in Bihar is becoming frightening. It is being told that due to corona infection, there has been a second death in Gaya within 16 days. The deceased has been identified as a 40-year-old patient from Chatra district of Jharkhand in the pre-fabricated ward of Anugraha Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital in the district. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Sriprakash Singh told that the patient was admitted to the hospital on 10 April. He had high BP and sugar disease. Ushkara corona test was done three times in the hospital, in which it came positive continuously. According to the report, 21 new infected patients have been found in Gaya on Sunday.
800 corona infected in Bihar
The number of corona infected has crossed 850 in Bihar. After eight months in the state, the number of corona infected has reached this level. The capital Patna has the maximum number of corona infected patients in the state. 399 infected patients have been identified here. During the last 24 hours, 133 cases have been reported. In this, 80 patients are from Patna. There are 56 active patients in Bhagalpur, 52 in Gaya, 41 in Purnia and 40 in Khagaria. Whereas, 20 corona infected patients had to be admitted to the hospital in the capital. Only some of them have serious problems.
Need to increase testing and strictness
It is being told that along with the state government, the common people also need to be alert regarding the corona infection. 52 thousand corona tests were done on Saturday, in which 198 patients were found infected. Out of this, 18 patients needed to be admitted to the hospital. PMCH’s Pulmonologist Dr. BK Chowdhary told that there is a need to increase testing in view of the increasing infection of corona. Along with this, it is also very important to strictly follow the Corona guidelines.
