One arrested with 80,000 banned lottery tickets in Pakur, a charas dealer was also caught

The police of Malpahari OP police station of Pakur district has taken major action against those involved in the business of lottery tickets banned in Jharkhand. About 80 thousand pieces of lottery tickets have been recovered from the house of Mithu Sheikh, a resident of Chengadanga in the police station area. One arrested with 660 mg charas, sent to jail

The police of Pakur’s Mufassil police station arrested a person with 660 mg of charas by conducting a raid operation on Kulapahadi mode of the police station late evening. The arrested person has been identified as Hakim Sheikh, a resident of Ramchandrapur. According to the information received from the police of Mufassil police station, action has been taken on the basis of secret information. Regarding the matter, station in-charge Satish Kumar said that information about the sale of drugs was received in Kulapahadi of the police station area.

Based on the information, a team was formed after informing the senior officials. The raid campaign was carried out by the constituted team in plain clothes. During this, about 660 mg of charas kept in pudiya has been recovered from a slum house. It was kept in about 10 pudias. One person has been arrested in this.
