Basant Panchami2024: Magh Shukla Panchami will be worshiped on 14th February in conjunction with Revati Nakshatra and auspicious yoga along with Basant Panchami, the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the presiding deity of knowledge and wisdom. Mother Sharda was born on this day. This festival is dedicated to Goddess Bageshwari, the presiding deity of learning, intelligence, knowledge, music and art. There will be an auspicious coincidence of Ravi Yoga on the day of Basant Panchami on 14th February. On Magh Shukla Panchami, along with Mother Sharda, Lord Ganesha, Lakshmi, Navagraha, books, pens and musical instruments will also be worshipped. After the puja, devotees will apply Abir-Gulaal to each other.
Babies will start alphabets
On the day of Saraswati Puja in Basant Panchami, babies will be given Aksharambh Sanskar in the traditional manner. His education studies will also start from this day. On this day, students, seekers, devotees and worshipers seeking knowledge attain success and desired results. According to Brahmavaivarta Purana, the day of Basant Panchami is considered auspicious for initiation of mantras, initiation of letters of babies, initiation of new relationships, initiation of education and initiation of new arts.
