Akshay Kumar’s film OMG 2 was released on 11 August. The film received good reviews from critics, but the movie did not do well at the box office.
OMG 2 has been released for 15 days and till now it has earned around 128.22 crores. Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam are in lead roles in the movie.
OMG 2 has done a business of 176.2 crores worldwide. Directed by Amit Rai, it is the sequel to the 2012 film OMG – Oh My God starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
Recently filmmaker Amit Rai expressed his disappointment over the cuts and said, “Our hearts were broken as we had made the film for everyone to see, it cannot happen now. We have requested them to give us a U/A certificate.” But they didn’t. The film was released with modifications.”
When asked if the OTT release of OMG 2 will be released without any cuts, the film’s director Amit Rai said, “We are happy that people have liked the film. The intention of the film was pure. Presented in a way that doesn’t sound vulgar..we talk about reality, but in a sweet and humorous way.”
Although it is not yet clear that by when the movie will be released on OTT. Let us tell you that OMG 2 was released on August 11 along with Gadar 2. Gadar 2 has gone way beyond OMG.
