It is not easy to make a film on a sensitive subject like sex education. If the subject is made a little spicy, then the film can become frivolous and if kept serious, the film can become a documentary, but Amit Rai, director of OMG 2, has presented the subject in such a way that almost the entire film is entertaining. Keeps happening, as well as very sensitive but this important issue is also brought to the fore by the film. Discussing which becomes the responsibility of parents from schools, colleges. The film has been given an A certificate, but every teenager should watch this film. It would not be wrong to say this.

Story explaining the importance of sex education

The story of OMG 2 is of Kanti Sharan Mudgal (Pankaj Tripathi). He has a Prasad shop in Ujjain’s Mahakal temple. He is a devotee of Shiva. He is living a simple but happy life with his wife, daughter and son, but one day a video of his young son Vivek masturbating in the school toilet goes viral, after which the entire society blames him. And there is upheaval in the life of Kanti’s entire family. Kanti also initially considers his son wrong and decides to leave the city along with the whole family. If the devotee is in trouble, then how long will God keep silent. Lord Shiva sends one of his ganas (Akshay Kumar) to help Kanti, who makes Kanti realize that her son is a victim of misinformation and neglect by the education system. In which many people from his school to medical shop, selling herbs are responsible. Kanti files a defamation case against everyone. Will Kanti, who speaks the word sex in a hushed tone, be able to prepare the society to openly talk about sex education? This is the story ahead. For which you must watch the film.

film’s merits and demerits

Producer of this film Akshay Kumar and director Amit Rai deserve congratulations for choosing this subject. This film is a sequel to Oh My God, released in 2012, but this time the story takes a different turn. Here it is not a non-believer who questions the existence of a supreme power, but a man who believes in God, who is going to fight against the education system for his family and seeks the help of his God. Due to which this film does not hurt devotion and faith in its story but gives importance. Overall, whatever controversy has taken place regarding the film is completely baseless. This film is different from other films of Hindi cinema advocating sex education in many respects. This film describes sex education as an important part of Indian culture. Not only in Kamasutra, but also in Panchatantra, work education has been considered important.

Censor board’s thinking behind giving A certificate to the film

This example brings to the fore. This aspect also holds that sex education which is being taught in foreign countries. It was started thousands of years ago in the Sanatan tradition, but now the same religion considers it against the tradition to even talk about it by calling it obscene. The film strongly maintains that if sex education is not included in the curriculum in schools, teenagers will continue to take half-baked knowledge from quack doctors, hakims and porn websites. Which can hurt from their body to mind and emotions. The film also touches upon the issue of Gud Touch Bad Touch, parents becoming friends with their children, understanding men as women. Talking about the flaws, the film has become a bit weak in the second half. A little more interesting debate is needed in the courtroom, but while questioning these flaws, the question also comes to mind that what was the thinking of the censor board behind giving the film an A certificate. Is he unaware of the current era. People of whose age should especially watch this film. After giving A certificate, the same age group has been removed from this film. This is a film to be seen with the whole family, which also makes it clear that the 40 cuts of the scissors of the censor board, that is, shuffling, may have reduced the effect of the film. Otherwise, this film could have kept its point more firmly. Perhaps the courtroom debate was effective before the censor cuts. Talking about other aspects, the dialogues of the film give strength to the story and the actors. The song and music of the film is in line with the story, but it has not been able to add to the story. As expected.

Amazing work of Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam

Talking about acting, it is not Akshay Kumar’s film but Pankaj Tripathi’s film. He has once again proved what a fine artist he is. He has lived the character of Kanti differently in a different dialect and style. For which he is praised. Yami Gautam has also presented the character of the rival lawyer with full confidence. She has also imbibed the gray shade of her character very well. Pawan Malhotra has left a mark in his role. Akshay Kumar has appeared in the film only on a few occasions, but he always manages to grab attention. He strongly supports the film. Akshay also has to be praised for the fact that he has given more screen space to Pankaj Tripathi than himself. The actors playing the role of wife and children of Brijendra Kalra, Govind Namdev, Shridhar Dubey, Arun Govil and Pankaj Tripathi have also done justice to their roles.
