It is likely to move slowly towards north-west. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form in the central part of the Bay of Bengal by the morning of 21st October.

IMD issued bulletin

The India Meteorological Department issued a bulletin this afternoon saying that it is likely to intensify further and form a depression over west-central Bay of Bengal by October 23. Under its influence, there may be light to moderate rain in the coastal districts on October 24. At the same time, the level of rainfall may increase from October 25. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in some districts of the state due to westerly winds during the next 24 hours, while the weather will remain mainly dry from October 20 to 23.
