ODI World Cup 2023: India is hosting

The Cricket World Cup, which takes place every four years, is one of the world’s leading, most watched and most popular One Day International (ODI) cricket matches. The tournament sees 10 teams compete for the coveted cup. This year marks the 13th edition of the World Cup since its inception in 1975. ODI World Cup 2023: How much is the prize money?

ICC has kept the budget of prize money in the tournament at US $ 10 million (approximately Rs 82.25 crore). The winning team will receive four million US dollars (approximately Rs 33.30 crore). At the same time, the second runner-up team will get two million US dollars (approximately Rs 16.65 crore). Each team losing in the semi-finals will get Rs 6.65 crore. Among the six teams that were eliminated from the league stage, each will get one lakh dollars i.e. (Rs 83.23 lakh). At the same time, for winning every match in the group stage, the teams will be given an amount of 40 thousand dollars (33.29 lakh rupees). Along with this, players who win the awards of Player of the Match, Player of the Tournament, Best Batter and Best Bowler will get separate award money.
